Note on Arduino items: the whole project is based on genuine (or fully compatible) arduino.cc products. Additional software and support libraries has been developed starting from official arduino.cc  code.

Complete list of components you need for the controller

• The board Arduino Due is a microcontroller board based on the Atmel SAM3X8E ARM Cortex-M3 CPU (datasheet). It is the first Arduino board based on a 32-bit ARM core microcontroller. It has 54 digital input/output pins (of which 12 can be used as PWM outputs), 12 analog inputs, 4 UARTs (hardware serial ports), a 84 MHz clock, an USB OTG capable connection, 2 DAC (digital to analog), 2 TWI, a power jack, an SPI header, a JTAG header, a reset button and an erase button.
  
• A 5'' TFT touch 800x480 display that can use the original UTFT Libraries.
  
• A TFT/SD Shield for Arduino DUE  board.

• Official Arduino Ethernet Shield -  It is the best board that allows your Arduino to access the network at 100Mb/s. It is also the board that has the best support libraries. I tested other equivalent ethernet shields, but with no great success. It needs a little modification before it can be used. See in the Assembly page.
  

• High resolution optical rotary encoder for main VFO. It can be a very expensive component, but looking for it on Ebay I found this cheap model that is perfect for our usage. It doesn't need a debounce circuits. There are better alternatives, like optical rotary encoders, but they are also very pricey.
  
• Weighted aluminium knob. Be careful to choose the one that matches the encoders shaft diameter.
  

• High quality rotary encoders with push button.I tested a lot of different encoders but best I found are that of Leo Bodnar web site. They need a simple debouncing circuit that you will find in Connections Schema web page. They are really perfect.
  
• Weighted aluminium knobs. I looked for cheap metal knob used for electric guitars. They are really cheap but have high quality indeed. Be careful to choose the one that matches the encoders shaft diameter.

• A small Enclosure. I used a Teko 363 but you could choose another one.
  

• A bunch of 15cm/6inch jumper wires (at least 80 pcs). You need of them as you have to detach the display from Arduino Due board.
